Concept, Style & Operations Consultant
As a restaurateur, food editor, award-winning author, food consultant,
restaurant judge, cooking teacher and television host, Michael Lee-Richards
is one of New Zealand's most familiar and enduring 'faces of food'.
With 30 years experience in almost every aspect of the industry, Michael
brings a wealth of expertise and an unrivalled passion to his consultancy
work. In recent years he has designed menus and consulted for restaurants,
hotels and a variety of businesses, both in New Zealand and abroad. He
has also designed and produced airline menus, gourmet products for top
quality food producers, and an exclusive line of glassware for a leading
European glass producer. He is partner and consultant at Richmond
Hill Café and Larder in Melbourne and the Founding Director
of Savour New Zealand.
In 2000 Michael was the co-recipient of two food awards from Massey University
- The Trade New Zealand Gourmet Food Award and the MAF Food Assurance
Award, and in 2001 he was presented with the Innovators Award from the
Restaurant Association of New Zealand.
